If you tested elsewhere, a consultation will first be required so that one of our clinicians can review your symptoms, medical history, and test results. Bringing evidence of your positive result is recommended where possible.
#2 Receive Treatment
If treatment is clinically appropriate and safe to proceed, you will be asked to attend the clinic for treatment.
#3 Further Actions
• Avoid all sexual activity, including oral sex, until you have completed treatment, your ulcers have fully healed, and your clinician advises it is safe to resume.
• Inform your recent sexual partner(s) so they can be assessed and treated if needed, helping prevent reinfection and further transmission.
• A follow-up appointment may be recommended to ensure your symptoms are improving. Contact the clinic if your ulcers are not healing or your symptoms worsen.
