Biography
Magdalena Nowacka is a Clinical Nurse Specialist specialising in sexual and reproductive health. She has worked across both NHS and private healthcare settings, supporting patients with a wide range of concerns, including sexually transmitted infections, genital dermatology conditions, contraception, and complex genitourinary symptoms.
Magdalena has spent much of her career working within specialist sexual health and HIV services in Birmingham. Alongside her clinical practice, she developed a strong interest in clinical research and service improvement. She later held senior roles within the sexual health research team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, contributing to several major UK and international clinical studies that have helped inform modern approaches to diagnosis and treatment.
She holds Master’s degrees in Nursing and Cultural Anthropology from Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Her academic background informs a holistic approach to patient care, recognising that sexual health concerns often involve both medical and personal aspects that require sensitivity, understanding, and clear communication.
