That’s why we offer a direct debit payment plans, allowing you to split the cost of your appointment into 4 manageable payments over 3 months. This hassle-free solution, available for selected services at the moment, ensures you receive the care you need without the financial strain. Set up is straightforward and secure, making your healthcare journey smoother and more accessible.

Important Notice

We will not be able to offer a payment plan to you, unless your bank has authorised the Direct Debit Mandate (link below).

GoCardless (the service provider) will have access to your name/address/contact details but not your medical history.

Any failed transactions may affect your credit score.

What is direct debit payment plans offered by your clinic?

Our clinic offers a convenient direct debit payment plan option for your medical expenses. This allows you to spread the cost of your treatment over three months, with payments deducted automatically from your bank account.

How do I set up direct debit payment plans for my treatment?

Before your appointment, you will need to set up a direct debit mandate via an online form that we will send to you. This authorizes our clinic to charge your bank account for the agreed payment amounts on specified dates. This can take up to 3 days to be activated so please keep this in mind.

What is the payment structure for direct debit payment plan?

The payment structure is as follows:

  • On the day of your appointment: Pay 25% of the total cost.
  • 1st of the following month: Pay an additional 25%.
  • 1st of the second month after your appointment: Pay another 25%.
  • 1st of the third month after your appointment: Pay the final 25%.

What if I can’t make a payment?

If you anticipate difficulty in making a payment, please contact us as soon as possible. We may be able to arrange an alternative payment plan. Please note that a failed payment can result in your bank lowering your credit score/rating so please do try to make sure there is sufficient funds in your account.

Are there any interest or additional fees?

Our clinic does not charge interest on direct debit payments. However, please be aware of any fees your bank might charge for insufficient funds or failed transactions.

How secure is the direct debit process?

Direct debit is a secure payment method. We take every precaution to protect your financial information and ensure that transactions are safe and confidential.

How will this affect my confidentiality?

We use GoCardless to set up Direct Debits and collect payments. This will mean that when. you sign up, they will have access to your Name, Addresss, Contact Details and Bank Details.

However, they will not have access to your medical records.

Can I change my bank account details after setting up the direct debit?

We do not offer this service at the moment in order to avoid confusion and considering the payment plan is only available over three months.

What happens if there are insufficient funds in my account?

The payment will fail if there are insufficient funds, and you may incur additional charges from your bank. Please ensure you have enough funds in your account on the due date to avoid this situation.

Will I be notified before a payment is taken from my account?

Yes. An “Advanced Notice” is sent 3 working days before any payment is taken from your account.

How can I keep track of the payments I’ve made?

You will receive a receipt for each payment made through direct debit. Additionally, you can check your bank statements to monitor the payments.

What happens once I have completed my payment plan?

Once you have paid your outstanding invoice, no further payments will be taken from your account. The Direct Debit Mandate will still be in place if you wish to seek other services from us in the future and pay using our patient finance.

If you wish to delete the Direct Debit Mandate we have from yourselves, please e-mail us on admin@clarewellclinics.co.uk and we will do this without delay.

Please note that we will not be able to offer this service if the Direct Debit Mandate (link below) is approved by your bank before the appointment.
