Paying by health insurance
We understand that the number of insurance companies and health plans are vast. As such, some of you may need to follow a slightly different process in order to pay for your visit.
Please note that it is your responsibility to liaise with your health insurance provider and to be reimbursed for your visit.
We will of course offer as much assistance as we can to ensure that this process is as smooth as possible.
Missed Appointment Policy
Unlike most private clinics, we do not charge a deposit at the time of booking an appointment. This is to make the booking process as easy and discreet for yourself.
In the event that you are unable to attend your appointment, we politely request that you give us at least 24 hours notice if you are unable to attend. This is so we may offer the appointment to another patient.
If you did not attend your appointment (or cancelled within 24 hours), we will charge a £60 fee to cover the cost of a standard appointment before we offer you a second appointment.
We thank you for understanding the reasons for this policy and please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.
Contact your health insurance provider
And let them know of the care that you are looking for (e.g. symptoms, concerns, procedures).
They will let you know what your plan covers you for and any other details that you need to be aware of.
Receive a pre-authorisation code
Your insurance provider will give you a pre-authorisation code which you will need to later claim back your visit.
Please note that your provider may request a GP Letter before offering you a pre-authorisation code.
Book an appointment
Once you have received your pre-authorisation code, please get in touch with us to book an appointment
Please let our reception team know that you will be seeking reimbursement by your health insurance provider.
Attend and pay for your appointment
We will then ask you to pay for your visit at the end of your appointment.
We will offer you an invoice with a breakdown of the services provided from us and a receipt as proof of your card payment.
Claim back from your health insurance provider
You will then need to take this paperwork to your health provider to then be reimbursed.
