You have been working as a Specialist Nurse in Sexual Health and cannot see yourself in any other specialty.
Technical
- (Required) NMC Registration
- (Required) 2 years of experience at a Sexual Health Clinic
- (Required) 6 years of experience as a clinician
- (Required) Specialty Specific Qualifications (e.g. STIF/FSRH)
- (Preferred) Non-Medical Prescriber

Will I need to get additional indemnity insurance?
Your NMC covers your indemnity insurance and you will not require any additional indemnity insurance.
What day-to-day clinical support do I have access to?
You will have access to experienced colleagues, in real time as well as at the end of the clinics, to discuss if you are not sure about something, or need help or second opinion. You are never on your own.
We will help you bridge any knowledge or skill gaps you may have. This will make you a more confident clinician and patients will have greater confidence in your advice.
Will there be an induction process?
The induction process is split into three parts:
- Introduction to Clarewell
- Technical Training
- Probationary Check-In
For continuation in the role, we request the successful and timely completion of each of these parts.
