STI Test Certificate

Whether it’s for official purposes or for your medical records, we can provide a test certificate to confirm your STI results.

We will ask you to bring your passport for proof of identity.

Please request this when booking your appointment.

What STIs can I test for and how much does it cost?

The STI tests required may vary from purpose and organisation.

We highly recommend you confirm with the relevant authority before booking your appointment (and ideally as close to the appointment as possible).

The price of an STI/HIV certificate is included in the price of the STI test.

What is an STI/HIV Certificate?

An STI/HIV certificate is an official document which confirms your test results for STI/HIV.

It also contains key information to verify it is you who was tested. This includes:

  • Date of sample collection
  • Your name, D.O.B and address
  • Your passport no. (or driving license no.)
  • Your STI/HIV test results (listed in full)

This will be signed by your clinician, along with their name and medical registration no.

When do I need an STI/HIV Certificate?

You may need evidence of your STI results for the following reasons:

  • Work: to enter/continue working in where you may be exposed to blood and/or STIs
  • Travel visa: to enter a country as a tourist

  • Residency permit
  • Medical procedures: for example, before getting pregnant; to begin IVF; and to confirm success of an STI treatment
  • Legal cases

What method of identification (ID) should I bring along?

We recommend bringing either one (or both) of the following to your appointment:

  • your passport
  • your driving license

When will the certificate be ready?

For those opting for an instant STI/HIV test, you can get the certificate at the end of your appointment. For other methods of testing, you can either receive it by post or collect it from our clinic.

What countries require an STI/HIV certificate?

For travel visas, the following countries may require an STI/HIV certificate:

  • United Arab Emirates
  • China
  • Australia
  • Singapore
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Malaysia
  • Qatar
  • Bahrain
  • Russia
  • Iraq


What happens if I test positive for an STI?

Whilst your plans may be affected, our first priority is to ensure you get effective STI Treatment.

Your clinician will help communicate the relevant information to your positive result to the concerned official body.

A certificate of STI treatment can be provided, after completing your treatment.
